Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel to help the skin crisp up during baking.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken thighs and rub with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a baking rack for even cooking.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35–45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
  6. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, brush your favorite BBQ sauce generously on top of the chicken thighs.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
