This Orange Glazed Salmon is a perfect blend of sweet and savory, featuring a luscious glaze made from fresh orange juice, honey, and spices. The bright citrus flavors are enhanced by a touch of ginger and soy sauce, creating a deliciously caramelized coating on the salmon. Quick to prepare, this dish is ideal for both weeknight dinners and special occasions. Serve it with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a vibrant and healthy meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, ginger, and orange zest to make the glaze.
  3. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Sear the salmon, skin-side down, for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  5. Flip the salmon and pour the prepared orange glaze over the fillets.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flaky.
  7. Remove the skillet from the oven and spoon the remaining glaze over the salmon.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
